This hurts because I can just see how when Dean finally realises what Sam's been doing, he's going to see it as either betrayal, or he'll despair because he thinks it's all he deserves - and right now I don't know which is more heartbreaking. Maybe the latter, because at least if he feels betrayed he might get angry and feel some emotion that isn't self loathing.
