Dean's distinguishing between the darkness and the Darkness, his inability to know what is the Darkness and what is a relic of the Mark, an effect of its absence--and on top of that, how much of that is just him. (A theme I've very much enjoyed across your fics for this summer!)

Well, that was a theme I very much enjoyed in the show this season, so that's nice to hear. ♥

I like to think the spark will catch. Maybe humanity won't make it, but they'll remember to rage against the dying of the light, and all that. ;)
