I have strong suspicions about what's going on with the Party and the refugees and Steele at this point, but voicing them might constitute inadvertant spoilers, so I'll just chortle quietly and how cunning the plot is getting. Yay. <3

Also chortled at the bit about the encryption software. Adrian is such a sneaky bastard sometimes, it's wonderful. But also very human, here - apologizing to the cat made me sniffle, and buying it really good fish made me cheer. Adrian's view of cats . . . pretty much agrees with mine. <3

In general, yay, I love where this is going and await the next bit with great eagerness.
