SPN timeline question

So, I'm rewatching S8 and trying to plan out my fic for Dean/Benny Big Bang -- which is a time-travel thing, so I need to be less hazy on my dates than I am. ;) At one point Benny says he was in Purgatory for 50 years, which suggests he was killed in the early sixties. But is there any indication of when he was turned, or how long he and Andrea were together before they were caught? I feel like there isn't, but other people may have better memories than me...

I would be so doomed if I had to write a time-travel fic. :-) I'm terrible at these kinds of details. I have to consult SuperWiki on more than half of the fics I write. Have you checked their character entry for Benny? That info is usually pretty thorough.

I have, and I've gone over the episode transcript for Blood Brother, but it doesn't seem to mention any dates directly! I may have to resort to making it up -- which is fine, as long as I'm not contradicting canon. ;)

Also, did time in Purgatory run the same as on Earth? My first port of call is always superwiki but then that fails, make up your own canon. As long as it makes sense in your story context and doesn't distract the reader you will be fine.
