Dear pine4pine author,

Thanks so much for creating for me! My ramblings below are just in case you wanted some inspiration and are basically an excuse for me to go on about what I love about the various things I’ve requested, so don’t feel obliged to read them if you’re not interested. I’m pretty easy to please and look forward to whatever you create!

Although I've got smut likes listed below, I'm equally happy with any rating from G to E. Also, if you find yourself inspired by a freeform I picked for a different fandom than the one we matched on, please feel free to go ahead and use it!

This was baby’s first fandom, and I remain nostalgically delighted by anything to do with it. I love angsty fic that focuses on the fallout of the series ending, or on the problems inherent in a mortal/immortal relationship, and I also love fluffier fic that leans into the snarky banter and the general out-there-ness of the canon.

There's certainly ample reason for either of them to keep their feelings under wraps and pine silently (...or snarkily, which I guess is more likely) instead of 'fessing up. Leon's convinced D is a criminal, D isn't exactly a fan of humans, and of course there are all the problems inherent to a human/mythical creature relationship. I love them trying to hide feelings during the main series timeline, and I love post-manga fic where Leon has a feelings realisation after D has left. (Only caveat: I never managed to get into PSoH: Tokyo, so while I'm fine with you using elements of it, I'd prefer nothing where detailed knowledge of the sequel series is necessary to understand the story.)

I've watched all the Captain America movies over the years and never had a single fannish feeling... and then TFATWS happened, and I fell head over heels for these two. I love the fact that they can be genuinely at odds over something pretty serious, but still have each other's backs, no questions asked -- and I love that we see their relationship grow into genuine love and trust but still with a side of snarky banter. But! That doesn't mean they can't pine while being convinced the other one isn't interested in something romantic, right? I'm all about the self-sacrifice and not asking for anything more because their friendship is too important to risk, and also all about the feelings being unwillingly revealed or bubbling over after one or both of them almost dies on a mission.

Oh, Luke. The first fictional character I ever fell in love with, before I had any idea what fandom was, and the annoyances-to-frenemies-to-friends relationship with Han is beautiful. I have a preference for original trilogy-era fic and am fine with poly situations where Han and Leia are still together but Luke gets to share him too, Han and Leia having an amicable breakup, or scenarios where they never get together. Nobly pining in silence because they believe the other is in love with someone else, or because they don't think their lives have room for a relationship right now? Handwavey SF science or Force Stuff inadvertently revealing feelings? Pining while stranded together and huddling for warmth (c'mon, it's canon)? I love it all.

I shipped these two from the word go, and I love Maze's arc through gradually figuring out human emotions and relationships. She might be a demon who goes for what she wants, but I can see her being more hesitant when what she wants is Linda, because Linda is her first and closest human connection. I would love to see her try to figure out her way through having these feelings for a normal human (and, lbr, probably deal badly at least at first). Conversely, maybe Linda assumes Maze isn't interested, because surely if she was, she'd say so? I also love both Amenadiel and Eve, and I'm fine with poly scenarios, amicable breakups, or never-got-together AUs -- just please don't make either of them an asshole, a cheat, etc.
