Summary: Bubastis is avenged, Lovecraft-style.
Notes: Will probably make no sense at all if you're unfamiliar with H. P. Lovecraft's The Cats of Ulthar.
Written for a kinkmeme prompt, though this differs slightly from the original. (I think, like so many of the best unspeakable horrors, they've just eaten his sanity.)
( It is said that in Ulthar, which lies beyond the river Skai, no man may kill a cat; and this I can verily believe as I gaze upon him who sitteth purring before the fire. )
