So apparently when I said I was going to 'have a rest' after finishing my thesis, what I meant was 'write cyberpunk AU Sherlock fic.' It's threatening a plot and stuff. *facepalm*

Well, it's definitely nice to be writing something that doesn't come with pressure involved. ;) Or shoggoths. I could do with a rest from shoggoths until I decide to write another Lovecraft crossover and need one as a convenient plot device.

Seriously, though, cyberpunk fits so well with Sherlock. It sounds like it will be kind of awesome.

It does seem to fit pretty well; I'm really interested in how someone who wants to think of themselves as purely cerebral would be in a world where that's almost (if not quite) possible. I'm not sure I'll be able to do it justice though, heh. ;)

It might yet fall flat, but we'll see. ;) I'm having fun playing with the characters in that world, but I'm not really a sci-fi writer, so it could end up a hot mess...
