anactoriaDad will still need to go in for some more tests in a couple of months, but the hospital are fairly certain he's okay. I cannot tell you how much of a relief that is. ♥
Favorite: Solidarity. Without wishing to sound mawkish, it actually did get me through a lot.
Best: Probably either It's The Customers Who Go To Hell or Cover Girl. They both pretty much sprang up fully-formed, and those tend to be the fics that work best, in my experience.
Most under-appreciated by the universe: The universe and its denizens are not obliged to appreciate anything.
Most fun to write: Probably Familiar. I tend to write Adrian as fairly sympathetic, and it was definitely a refreshing change to have him be utterly (and crackily) evil for once.
Sexiest: None. My smut is not sexy, just angsty.
"Holy crap, that’s wrong even for you?": Kinkmeme fills to which I am not going to admit. :-p
Fic that shifted my own perception of the characters: Cover Girl. Writing Eddie as a woman made me like him a whole lot more. (O HI unconscious sexism.)

Biggest surprise: Solidarity I hadn't written anything over 700 words in, uh, about five years, so the whole multi-chaptered plot-having thing really came out of nowhere.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?: Much, much more. I had no inkling I was going end up back 'in' a fandom at all, really.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January?: In January, I was vaguely aware of Watchmen as something that my other half and a lot of people I knew were very excited about, which I really didn't get. Despite my love for various other works by Alan Moore, it just didn't appeal to me. Oh, how things have changed...
Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.): Just writing things and posting them always terrifies me. ;)
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?: Eldritch Horrors! But I am not allowing myself to start that until I've finished this conference paper and at least a draft of Thesis Chapter Two, so I will probably be consoling myself with random ficlets for the next few weeks.
